Bonny's Bunch: Family Photographer

When Bonny asked me to photograph her family during their vacation at Surfside beach, how could I refuse?  She and I went to school together at OCU and were members of Kappa Phi, so it was really nice to catch up a bit and meet the people that mean the most to her.

Bonny is all grown up now and has a husband and two charming kids of her own!  (Time flies, right?)  Her family is absolutely amazing.  Every single member is entertaining in their own right... from stories of cruising to a small girl's fake laugh and love of cheese- I felt right at home.  :)

Erica, Gene, and the kiddos: Family Photographer

I first photographed Erica and her bunch last year, and I gotta say, I love them.  They never try to be anything they are not.

Erica lets the kids run free, and it really helps to create an honest depiction of everyone.  Sure, they sit down (for a minute, at most) to make sure everyone is in the same frame for at least ONE shot, but for the majority of the time, I am just taking photos of a family at play.

We met at the Oyster Creek Park in Sugarland, TX, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the Bernar Venet Sculptures that were removed from Herman Park.  (little joys)  :)

Shelly: Bridal Pictures

Shelly decided to take her bridal pictures with her two daughters (Aliza and Yvette), and I'm so pleased I got the chance to meet these little ladies before the big day!  They are absolute sweethearts and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful their mother was.  The afternoon was filled with, "Mommy, you're pretty.. Mommy, you look so beautiful."  :)

We took the pictures at the Prop Rock showroom and used their amazing furniture to get some classy shots.  (Check them out for furniture/ accessory rentals for events)

Prop Rock: Event Photography

 This past week I was asked to photograph an open-house event for a company called "Prop Rock."  They are a company that rents all sorts of wonderful furniture and accessories for event use and specializes in "customized event lounge furniture."  (Definitely worth checking out for weddings, sweet 16's, graduation parties etc...)

I was so pleased at the number of vendors that showed up and had a grand old time mingling and talking with everyone in attendance.

They have a warehouse of anything you could imagine!
