Brooklyn

Brooklyn was one of my lovely seniors this year (and the winner of our back-to-school raffle), so it was great getting to photograph her again.

This time, we opted for an indoor shoot, so that we could get some classic headshots for her pageant entries.  After the basics, Brooklyn chose an array of outfits to get some full-length shots.  (Her best friend and little sister gave plenty of advice and suggestions as we went along; it's always nice to have supporters!)

I have to admit, my favorite part of the session was when we decided to recreate some retro pin-up photos.  (Don't worry- all completely classy!)

& Leigh Ann: Headshots

These two were a riot!  (and just all-around beautiful people)  We only got to hang out for an hour or so, since we were just taking headshot pictures, but I really enjoyed this couple! 

They told me they were interested in getting some shots for their LinkedIn profiles, so I showed up at 10:30am for some professional headshots in their home.  We set up backdrops right in the front foyer- utilizing that natural light even INSIDE.  ;) 

Ashly: headshots

Ashly is just getting into acting and needed some headshots to send out on auditions.  Of course, the performer in me was delighted to help!

The two of us talked about how to gain more experience in the field and went over basic information for finding auditions and presenting yourself professionally.

I don't think Ashly will have any difficulty with any of the above.  She is a gorgeous girl and so so pleasant- the makings of a great actress!

Thalia: Model Photographer

Thalia (Yammy to some) is a bit of a shy girl, but what a natural beauty!  She has some of the longest eyelashes I've ever seen, and it only helps to accentuate those big eyes of hers.

I helped with makeup and some wardrobe, and we were able to put together quite the portfolio for this young lady.

Thalia is interested in doing some promotional work and has just begun jazz dancing, so we made sure to include headshots and a dance-themed portion of the shoot.

What a gorgeous smile!

Felicia: Houston Model Photographer

Felicia won my heart right away.  She heard about me through a friend who's daughter's birthday I photographed at the end of last year.  (You may remember Jaelyn's one year old Princess and the frog bash!)

Well, Felicia loved Jaelyn's photos and asked me to take some headshots, dance and model pics for her (this is right up my ally, folks).  :)  I loved talking dance with her and I think we got some amazing shots!

This girl is phenomenal, and she is going places.  :)

We started with the basic "beauty" headshots...

..then went to a nearby park for some amazing dance photos!
