M&M Sisters: Family Photographer

Kacy (mom) was the raffle winner of a 2-hr photo session from Gilded Sun and decided to use her winnings to get some prize photos of her beautiful daughters.

I must say, these are some of the cutest girls I've photographed to date!  :)

Mom had all sorts of colorful, matching outfits to dress her girls in, and we were able to find lots of complimenting backgrounds in Old Town Spring.  I do love shooting in Old Town Spring; there are so many options for colors and texture!

Beautiful girls!

Such a proud mommy!

Kara, Elizabeth and Lauren: Children Photographer

This was my fourth and lucky time to photograph these little darlings!  (Mom likes to get annual Christmas pictures and birthday photos to document her growing girls)  :)

Amanda requested an indoor location to fight the heat, but it turns out we were escaping the rain too!  (fortunate planning)  The people at Cheeburger Cheeburger were kind enough to let us use their restaurant as a cute 50's backdrop for our shoot and even let us in a half hour before opening so we could have the place to ourselves!  (Talk about sweethearts)

It's incredible how different all of their personalities are!

Dancing is a common theme  :)

Commence with the milkshakes!

Amazing how quiet it got....

"Excuse me... that's my milkshake."

Never a dull moment with this bunch!

:)  Sharing isn't always optional.

Christmas 2010: NW Houston Family Photographer

This is the third time I've had the opportunity to photograph this particular family, and I love getting to see these girls grow!  Amanda always has them dressed so nicely, and the girls are just lovely!

For this particular holiday shoot, we headed out to the property of one of their family members.  Unfortunately, I got stuck in a ditch right before the shoot.  I pulled into the wrong drive and backed out a bit crooked (oye), but Jason was a champ and helped me push it out before we got to the picture-taking.  (Thanks again)

Take a look at these adorable little cuties- they certainly brightened MY day!

Christmas photos: NW Houston family photographer

I've taken a number of photos this season that will be used in Christmas cards and kept as an annual reminder of the family, but this family decided to go all out for the season!  Charles was a good sport and played the part of Santa, while the kiddos hammed it up.

Much like Monique, Candace was prepared for the shoot with a mini-look-book of images she wanted to recreate!

You may recognize this little devil and vampire from Gilded Sun's Halloween mini-sessions.  I love being able to photograph kids a second or third time; I think they're a little more comfortable and are more willing to play.

Jaelyn: Houston event Photographer

one-shoe predicament
This is the first one-year-old Birthday party that I've ever attended (to my recollection), and I had a blast!  The child of honor was Jaelyn- an angelic little girl who had a Princess and the Frog themed party.

Lots of people were there to celebrate -family, friends, co-workers (of Mom, not Jaelyn).  You could really sense how loved this little girl is!  Jaelyn was happy to be in anyone's arms... especially if you had a phone.  She is obviously starting her infatuation with them young, but what kid doesn't like a telephone?  Mom will have a hard time finding a place for all those new gifts, but it looks like she doesn't have to worry too much about Christmas presents this year!

I adore Jesika's proud-Mama face!
