Baby Shower

This may have been the most extravagant baby shower I have ever attended.  The theme was "safari," but that doesn't begin to describe how couture everything was.

An elephant made of ice gracefully melted into the punch bowl (also made of ice) containing the dangerously blue safari cocktail.  Exotic foods like plantain chips and "Green Goddess dip" enticed everyone's appetites, and blue and brown candies were shipped in from all over the world to supply the goods for the sweet buffet- what a display Prop Rock was able to conjure up!

These ladies were the definition of sophistication, but throw in a party game or two and they became quite rowdy and competitive!  (I love how games can do that to people!)

Amy & David: Wedding Photographer

Amy and David were an absolutely beautiful, young couple!  They beamed, she cried, he was glowing- everything a day like this should be.  :)

Amy graduated the day before the wedding (which I have a cousin doing the same thing and can't IMAGINE doing myself), so everyone was already prepped to be full of emotions for the event!

These two decided their colors would be orange and yellow -the same as Amy's parents- and the day was full of the bright, summery colors.

I loved the color palette :)

M&M Sisters: Family Photographer

Kacy (mom) was the raffle winner of a 2-hr photo session from Gilded Sun and decided to use her winnings to get some prize photos of her beautiful daughters.

I must say, these are some of the cutest girls I've photographed to date!  :) 

Mom had all sorts of colorful, matching outfits to dress her girls in, and we were able to find lots of complimenting backgrounds in Old Town Spring.  I do love shooting in Old Town Spring; there are so many options for colors and texture!

Ashley+Jonathan+Jonathan: Family Photographer

I went to school with Ashley and Jonathan, and it is such a pleasure to see how they have grown as a family!  Little Jonathan is turning a year old, and I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone!  (Ashley promises it passes even more quickly after having a child)

We met at Meyer Park and let little Jonathan climb through jungle gym tubes and try out his new running legs after we got a few shots of the family.  Ashley was sure to bring along a few toys to occupy her little one (bless her soul), so it was quite a breezy shoot!
