Ashley: NW Houston Bridal Photographer

Ashley is one of the loveliest people I have ever photographed.  She was so natural in front of the camera, and I blame her extensive theatre experience for her flawless make-up and ability to withstand that gorgeous corset dress without a single wince.  Her long, wavy hair was worn down to accentuate her natural beauty, and I just couldn’t seem to take a bad picture of her!

Ashley is getting married at the Renaissance Festival next week, and has a lovely embroidered and beaded dress fit for the occasion.  (And check out those boots!  I love out-of-the-ordinary details.)

Good thing we got some pre-wedding day practice with that train!

Tiffany & Taylor: NW Houston Family Photographer

Tiffany and Taylor were my second set of sisters this day!  The two of them get annual pictures taken together, and I am so excited they decided to book with me this year!

These girls decided to double up on the mini-sessions (they booked two back-to-back), so we were able to really get a variety of shots and make the most of our time.

Can I just say that the two of them are gorgeous, and I absolutely love that they coordinated so well!?!?  Great job, ladies.

A throwback to "Angel and Duckface" from the younger years!

Duheimish Sisters: NW Houston family photographer

The Duheimish sisters decided to take advantage of Gilded Sun's Holiday mini-sessions.  They wanted a photo of the three of them together to give as a gift to their parents- I love it!  Holly told me it was quite a trick to get all three of them together in the same place at the same time, but I'm sure their parents will appreciate the effort!

The Kirschners: OK family Photographer

Jamie is the second photographer that I've had the opportunity to photograph.  She is the owner and head-photographer of Crackerjack Photography in Oklahoma City.  (Check out her work- she's got some really great projects involving neighbors, television and recycling!)

Jamie wanted some photos of her and her hubby in their new home, so we decided to meet at their house during Josh's lunch break.  Our time was limited, but I think we got some great shots!  Their pup, Zeus, even joined in for a few photos.  (Check him out below- he knows how to high-five!)

Rose family: OK Family Photographer

While I was in Oklahoma, I had the great pleasure of photographing my college roommate, her husband, and their puppy, Jack!  In exchange for room and board, these blissful souls earned a photo shoot!  (I'm all for a good barter)

Truth is, I had a great time staying with them and was honored to take their photos.  I think they make the most adorable family, and thus- the most adorable photos!

We headed out to a nearby park and got to take advantage of the lovely foliage in the area.  It may get cold, but warm autumn colors are a nice perk to living in Oklahoma.

Hah- I'm not sure how much Jack enjoyed being an elf!

Puppy love!

Onesimus: OK Child Photographer

Meet Onesimus.  Onesimus has been adopted by one of my Kappa Phi sponsors from college, Angi.

I couldn't be happier for this little family, and I am so glad that I finally got to meet this child!  He is two years old and loves football!  Angi tells me he is disappointed that OCU doesn't have a football team, but they still go to watch the basketball games- go Stars!

Onesimus had us running all over campus the morning of our shoot (as most little boys do).  He's definitely a kid who knows what he wants: to run, to examine rocks, and to call after birds!

Katie: NW Houston Bridal Photographer

Last Wednesday, I was able to shoot with Katie for the second time.  I was Katie and Kevin's engagement photographer back in July, and it was my absolute pleasure to work with her again!

We headed down to the Woodland's Waterway in the late afternoon and really turned some heads at the Goose's Acre.  We trekked up and down the riverwalk and got some stunning shots of this lovely bride!

It makes me laugh to think how many times Katie rejoiced that she was able to try out her dress before the big day-  seamstress-ladies can be unforgiving!

These boots are for Kevin!
Katie and Kevin's very own giving tree!  This is the spot where he proposed!

Her prince!

Can you believe that Kevin picked out these shoes?

We have fun too!

We were able to get a guerrilla shot of Katie's mom!  Thanks for joining us!
