Julia (a friend of
Shannon's) was another senior that arrived with a team to help with the big picture day. Not only was mom prepared with a van -which doubled as a dressing room thanks to ingenious and creative sheet placement around the hatchback door- but two older sisters helped with costume changes, scouted out locations, and tried their very best to get the most genuine smile from their youngest sis. There was definitely a nice chemistry between these four ladies, and I loved witnessing their family dynamic.
Our backdrop was Old Town Spring, and it offered endless possibilities of antiqued benches, gazebos and colored buildings. I even found myself saying, "All the colored buildings remind me of Mexico... except... in a much more American way.." Wow- totally have Mexico on the brain!
